Profile of Michael Trier
Michael Trier is the Director of Southeast Operations for the Foundation for Financial Education.
He was born in Memphis Tennessee, but was raised in many places because of his father’s military service. Eventually settling in Central Florida in 1973, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Management.
After his boyhood dream of being a super hero didn’t work out, he entered the financial services industry to help people retire with the lifestyle they desired. Twenty five years later he still enjoys the light come on in a person’s eyes when everything works the way all the planning said it would.
With all the information available today via the Internet, Michael felt a tremendous need to make sure clients receive accurate information and associated himself with the Foundation for Financial Education in order to accomplish that goal.
When he is not speaking somewhere on behalf of F3E, he spends his time riding his bike, reading, watching his children play sports and grilling hamburgers for the concession stand at football or lacrosse games.
