Profile of Kimberly McKay-Schaffer
Kimberly McKay-Schaffer is a Community Outreach Coordinator of Springfield Operations for the Foundation for Financial Education, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Kimberly grew up in Northwest Missouri on a small cattle farm where she began her financial education as a young girl. She proceeded to attend William Jewell College where she graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
Kimberly brings valuable knowledge and a passion for financial literacy to the foundation. She supports the education department of a Federal Women’s Prison and has also developed and directed departments for a Fortune 100 Company. Kimberly continues to dedicate her time supporting Adult Continuing Education and At-Risk Youth programs in Springfield, MO, in order to bring awareness to the areas of education and financial security. She enjoys spending time with her children, including her newly adopted daughter, and four grandchildren.
