Ramona A. Purvis is the Director of Education of Northern California Operations for the Foundation for Financial Education, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.

Ramona was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and grew up with 12 brother and sisters.  She learned early on, that family is the most important thing in anyone’s life.

Ramona studied accounting and business at Boise State University.  Prior to joining the Foundation for Financial Education, Ramona embarked on an expansive career in the field of accounting for more than 35 years.  She has held Senior positions and has an extensive background in accounting, finance and business. Ramona is currently an Investment Advisor Representative and once owned her own Financial Services firm in Folsom, CA.

Funny thing about Ramona…she figured out that her personality was less of a “bean counter” and more of a people person!  As a Senior partner for more than 12 years, Ramona is able to pursue her true passion of serving and helping others – creating successful game plans for individuals’ financial and retirement plans.

She resides in Amador County – enjoying hiking, running, reading and her four legged family members.  In addition, Ramona gives back to her community by serving as an Ordinance Worker and a teacher for her church in Sacramento. She has done so for 35 years. When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
