Profile of Hunter Rich
Hunter Rich is a Junior Advisor at the National Headquarters for the Foundation for Financial Education, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Hunter is a recent graduate of American University, where he received a Business Degree in Business and Entertainment and a Communications Degree in Journalism. He’s worked as a musician in the Baltimore area for over five years and gives 10 percent of all proceeds from playing live to charity.
He became interested in personal finance through a finance class at the university. Growing to understand the financial pitfalls those close to him had fallen into, and the lack of education available to empower these individuals to gain control of their financial wellness, he became inspired to learn more about achieving financial freedom through balance, self-empowerment and self-control.
When he isn’t in the office, you can find him playing live music, songwriting, fishing, playing golf, training for marathons, or backpacking on the Appalachian Trail.
