Profile of Laura Cribbs
Laura Cribbs is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Foundation for Financial Education, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Southern California native, Laura started her career as an interior designer, working at the most prestigious showrooms in the Washington DC area. Her clients ranged from homeowners, to commercial spaces, to distinguished government officials from around the world. Before her work in the design world, she had volunteered for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation and found the work rewarding. After reaching her goals in design, she realized her part time volunteer hours at A Wider Circle, Capital Area Food Bank and at her children’s schools sparked in her the need to make the nonprofit world her life’s work.
Bringing her ability to listen to and assess her client’s needs quickly helped her succeed in the design world and has proven invaluable at F3E. Her passion for financial wellness and education is something those who work with her are very familiar with, and her desire to bring it to those who need it is a driving factor for Laura.
Laura is still volunteering at A Wider Circle with her sons, and also spending time at Nats or Caps games whenever possible.
