Ben Green is the Director of Operations for the Nasvhille, Tennessee Team for the Foundation for Financial Education, one of the largest and fastest growing 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the country.
Ben has a great appreciation for customer service and client satisfaction honed from more than 20 years of experience working with clients in the hospitality, economic development, education and technology industries.
Ben is recognized as a top individual health & Medicare supplements insurance planner and a top employee benefits planner for corporations, non-profits and government agencies.
Ben’s passion for helping his clients and their families navigate the ever-changing insurance and financial landscape led him to focus on providing financial education, to ensure his clients can live a life of prosperity in retirement. Ben has given numerous educational seminars on topics such as Life Insurance, Long-Term Care Insurance, Medicare Supplements and Pre & Post-Retirement Insurance Planning.
Ben is also passionate about preparing the next generation for career success, and is the author of The Global Superstar: How Your Students Can Develop an Advantage over Global Competition. In this capacity Ben has spoken to thousands of students, teachers and administrators at high schools and colleges.
Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Morehouse College and an International MBA from The University of South Carolina. He’s conversant in Japanese, Portuguese, & Spanish. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the association of South Carolina Independent Colleges & Universities. He has also served on the Boards of the SC Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and the Midlands Education and Business Alliance.
Ben resides in Columbia, South Carolina with his wife Kim, their two wonderful daughters Anna & Kate, and their dog Sophie. He enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and spending time with his family.
